PITTSBURGH - Primanti Bros. announced Thursday that they’ve received an investment from a company in hopes of expanding nationwide.
The popular Pittsburgh-based restaurant is partnering with the private equity firm Catterton Partners.
Catterton Partners has significant experience in the restaurant industry, where they have achieved great success with well-known companies such as Baja Fresh Mexican Grill, P.F. Chang's, First Watch, Outback Steakhouse, Mendocino Farms, Cheddar's and Noodles & Company, among others.
An investment from Catterton will enhance Primanti Bros.' growth and brand development and support the expansion of the Primanti Bros. concept to help take the company to the next level, a Primanti’s official said.
