CANONSBURG, Pa. - Restrictions on a long-standing Canonsburg tradition involving the town’s Fourth of July parade go into effect this year.
Residents are reminded that although the parade is less than a week away, chairs are only allowed to be placed along the parade route two days beforehand.
Council members imposed the restriction after chairs went up days before the event in the past.
The policy is part of a compromise officials made with locals last year.
