SALTSBURG, Pa. - Saltsburg Middle-High School was put on lockdown Monday.
According to school officials, two students got into a fight in the hallway.
The brawl was so violent that one of the boys was flown by medical helicopter to Children’s Hospital.
The assistant superintendent would not say if the student’s injuries were life-threatening but told Channel 11 no weapons were involved.
The entire building, which houses the middle and high school, was immediately put on lockdown as a precautionary measure.
