PITTSBURGH - According to Severe Weather Team 11 meteorologist Kevin Benson, scattered showers are expected throughout the day Monday, with the chance of isolated severe storms.
Benson said there will be periods of rain throughout the day, with heavy downpours possible at times. The high temperature Monday is expected to be about 80 degrees.
Showers and isolated storms are possible Monday night into Tuesday morning, Benson said. The overnight low temperature is expected to be about 65 degrees.
Benson said scattered showers and storms are expected Tuesday. He also expects periods of clouds and sun. The high temperature will be about 82 degrees.
Wednesday’s forecast is similar to Tuesday’s, Benson said. He expects it to be partly sunny with periods of brief showers and storms. The high temperature is expected to be about 84 degrees.
According to Benson, there is a 40 percent chance of rain on Thursday, the Fourth of July. The high temperature is expected to be about 83 degrees.
