COLUMBIA COUNTY, Fla. - Several law enforcement agencies are looking in Florida for the third suspect wanted in connection with stabbing Pittsburgh Steelers offensive tackle Mike Adams earlier this month on the South Side.
According to Channel 11’s sister station in Jacksonville, WTEV, the Columbia County Sheriff's Office believes 26-year-old Jerrell Remero Whitlock is hiding somewhere in Columbia County.
Whitlock has been previously arrested for crimes that include car theft, stolen property, drug distribution, possession of heroin and firearms violations. Deputies said he is considered armed and dangerous.
Upon his arrest, Whitlock will be charged with criminal attempted homicide, aggravated assault, attempted carjacking and criminal conspiracy.
Two men have already been arrested in the case. Pittsburgh police spokeswoman Diane Richard said 26-year-old Dquay Means and 25-year-old Michael Paranay were arrested last week.
The charges against the men include attempted homicide, aggravated assault and conspiracy.
