BUTLER COUNTY, Pa. - Crews are continuing their recovery effort of a missing Prospect man at Moraine State Park despite being hindered by the weather.
Police said Brian Cornetti, 54, disappeared while hunting for raccoons in the park Friday night.
On Saturday morning, a park volunteer spotted Cornetti's fishing boat, which Moraine State Park manager Dan Bickel said he typically used to spot raccoons along the shore of Lake Arthur. The boat had drifted across the lake and was unoccupied.
Cornetti's truck and trailer remained at a boat launch off state Route 528, and a pile of clothes was found beside the vehicles, Bickel said.
Weather forced crews to stop their search Sunday night. State police have brought in sonar and K9 units to assist with the search.
