APOLLO, Pa. —

Gun shots were fired in Apollo Friday morning, and as a result, security was heightened at nearby schools.

Parents were shaken up.

“We weren’t notified.  I found out by word of mouth,” said Gloria Orsini.

Fifteen to 25 gun shots were fired at a building, police said.

“We took three suspects into custody.  The investigation is continuing,” said trooper Eric Maurer.
