Shot fired during Blairsville porn store robbery

BLAIRSVILLE, Pa. (AP),None — State police said two robbers fired at least two shots during an adult-bookstore robbery in Blairsville.

Troopers from the Indiana County barracks said two men wearing dark hooded sweatshirts and masks burst into the Adult World store on Route 22 about 1:10 a.m. Tuesday.

Police said one of the robbers fired a gun into the ceiling and demanded money, while the other carried a large butcher knife.   The gunman then grabbed a handful of cash from the register then fired another shot toward one of two clerks in the store -- a 27-year-old woman -- as the robbers ran away.

Nobody was wounded. The other victim in the store was a 23-year-old male clerk.

Trooper John Matchik, the barracks spokesman, said there were no customers in the store.
