PITTSBURGH - Rain showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue to move through the Channel 11 viewing area through Saturday evening.
Severe Weather Team 11 meteorologist Kevin Benson said potentially slow-moving downpours could lead to flooding in some areas as rain moves northeast through the region.
Lightning was seen as scattered showers moved through the area early Saturday evening.
More settled weather is expected into Saturday night, but the chance for scattered showers will remain in the forecast for Sunday.
Sunday is expected to be partly sunny with a high of 79.
