Small dog found in ruins of Grove City house fire that killed brother, sister

GROVE CITY, Pa. — An unlikely discovery was made in the ruins of a home destroyed by a fire four days after the fire was put out.

Police said a Chihuahua was found alive Friday four days after a fire at a home on McConnels Street in Grove City. The dog's name is Sissy and was found in a backpack.

Neighbors said they called police when they heard the animal making noises.

Brandon Fortuna and his sister, Kirsten Fellows, died in the fire on Monday.

Sissy was given to Fellow's fiancé.
