PITTSBURGH - Severe Weather Team 11 meteorologist Scott Harbaugh said snow in Pittsburgh will be less than an inch and mainly on grassy areas Tuesday. Snow will quickly taper off by Tuesday afternoon.
Areas southeast of a line from Indiana to Greensburg to Waynesburg could see 1 to 3 inches of snow by the end of the day, Harbaugh said.
Temperatures will push into the upper 30s Tuesday afternoon helping to melt some of the snow and keep roadways mainly wet.
Wednesday will bring a bit more sunshine, with highs in the lower 40s.
Snow accumulation expected Tuesday in the Channel 11 viewing area
