Steelers chairman Dan Rooney honored at Global Sports Summit

ASPEN, Co. — Pittsburgh Steelers chairman Dan Rooney was honored at the Global Sports Summit in Aspen, Co. Monday night.

Rooney was given a lifetime achievement award.

The award is presented annually to a team owner who has made lasting contributions to their team, league and community.

Rooney also served as the United States ambassador to Ireland from 2009 to 2012.
