Study: Red wine antioxidant doesn't help obese men

PITTSBURGH — Doctors say that people who drink red wine in moderation may lead healthier lives, but according to a new study, that might not be the case for obese men.

Researchers in Denmark concluded that an antioxidant found in red wine does not help the heart health of obese men.

The study included 24 obese men, some of whom took the antioxidant and some of whom took a placebo.

The researchers found no change between the test subjects.
