Suspects in violent East Liberty pizza shop robbery arrested

EAST LIBERTY, Pa. — Police have arrested two suspects wanted in connection with a violent robbery earlier this month at an East Liberty pizza shop.

Authorities said officers arrested Robert Paillett Jr. and Dayvon Gandy Sunday in Pittsburgh’s Knoxville neighborhood.

According to police, Paillett Jr. and Gandy are accused of robbing the Domino’s on Sheridan Avenue.

Investigators said the men demanded money and shot an employee before fleeing the scene.

The employee wasn’t seriously injured, officials said.

Investigators said they believe the suspects could be connected to other crimes.
