SWAT standoff in Indiana Twp. ends peacefully

INDIANA TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Police and SWAT teams surrounded an Indiana Township home late Thursday night after reports that a man was barricaded inside.

Police were first called to the scene on Arbor Ridge Court just before 11 p.m.

The tense situation came to a peaceful end just before 3 a.m. when the man was taken into custody.

His name has not been released, and it’s unclear why the situation started.

No injuries were reported in the incident, and police haven’t said what charges the man will face.
