FOX CHAPEL, Pa. - An emotional Secretary of State John Kerry thanked supporters Wednesday for the outpouring of good wishes for his wife, who remains in the hospital.
Kerry spoke Wednesday during an opening session of talks between the United States and China at the State Department.
“I just want to thank everybody for your extraordinary well wishes in the last few days,” Kerry said. “Teresa is doing better under evaluation, and we hope improving.”
Teresa Heinz Kerry was hospitalized Sunday with seizure-like symptoms. She is heir to the Heinz ketchup fortune and owns property in Fox Chapel.
