Vehicle crashes into tree off Route 528, killing driver

BRADY TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A man was killed in a single-vehicle accident in Brady Township, Butler County, late Saturday night.

Police said David Malesh, 53, of Butler, died after his vehicle went off Route 528 and hit a tree about 11:30 p.m.

Malesh was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Alcohol is believed to have played a role in the crash, police said.
