Vehicle strikes pedestrian in Wilkinsburg; Police asking witnesses to come forward

WILKINSBURG, Pa. — Police in Wilkinsburg are asking for witnesses of a hit-and-run Friday night to come forward.

Authorities said a man was crossing the street at the intersection of Biddle Avenue and Mifflin Avenue about 11:30 p.m. when he was struck. That man suffered bruised ribs and a concussion as a result of the accident, officials said.

Investigators said the vehicle that hit the pedestrian was dark in color and may have front fender and hood damage.
