PITTSBURGH - A special event, Heroes at Heinz, was held at Heinz Field on Thursday night.
The event gives veterans who served in Iraq and Afghanistan a chance to do a little kicking and passing with their favorite Pittsburgh Steelers.
“It means so much to me. My family's here. I want them to see the sacrifice it takes to have all the things we have,” said Steelers’ Brett Keisel.
“I’m grateful for the team for doing this,” said veteran Tim Dobos.
The event also included autographs and group photos.
Seventy-five veterans took part in Heroes at Heinz.
