Warrants issued for several alleged escapees (Photos included)

PITTSBURGH — Pennsylvania State Police have issued arrest warrants for several men who either escaped from custody or failed to return from authorized work release.

On Dec. 13, Jason Rini was incarcerated in the Parole Violator Center at the Renewal Community Corrections Center when he fell on the floor, causing him to sustain an injury to his face/head.  Rini was transported to Mercy Hospital for treatment.  In the midst of being treated in the emergency room, Rini removed the hospital monitors attached to him and left the hospital.

Rini, 32, was serving time for robbery with force, and has an extensive criminal history, police said.

He is described as a black male standing about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 198 pounds. He has brown hair and eyes.

On Dec. 15, Lamar Cochran was incarcerated in the Parole Violator Center at the Renewal Community Corrections Center.  He was taken to UPMC Mercy Emergency Room to receive stitches for a laceration above his eye.  Upon departing the emergency room, Cochran advised the monitor he was with that he was not returning to the community corrections center and fled on foot.

Cochran, 31, was serving time for possession with intent to deliver, and has an extensive criminal history, police said.

He is described as a black male standing about 6 feet tall and weighing about 165 pounds. He has black eyes and brown hair.

On Dec. 23, William Bowyer was transported from Renewal Community Corrections Center to UPMC Shadyside for a doctor's appointment. While being transported back to the center at a traffic light in the city of Pittsburgh, Bowyer exited the vehicle.

Bowyer, 22, was serving time for robbery, and has a prior criminal history, police said.

He is described as a black male standing about 6 feet 1 inches tall and weighing about 259 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.

On Dec. 25, Tyler Rutherford was transported from the Renewal Community Corrections Center to UPMC Mercy Hospital after complaining of pain.  Upon arriving at the hospital, Rutherford exited the vehicle and ran from the hospital.

Rutherford, 36, was serving time for burglary, and has an extensive criminal history, police said.

He’s described as a white male standing about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing about 175 pounds. He has brown eyes and hair.

On Tuesday, Michael Magiske failed to return to the Riverside Community Corrections Center from his authorized work release, police said.

Magiske, 27, was serving time for forgery, and has a prior criminal history, police said.

He is described as a white male standing about 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about 205 pounds. He has blue eyes and blonde hair.

On Thursday, Tyree Hopkins was transported to UPMC Mercy Hospital for an injury. Upon returning to the Renewal Community Corrections Center, police said Hopkins refused to enter the building and walked away from the facility.

Hopkins, 37, was serving time for aggravated assault, and authorities said he has an extensive criminal history.

Hopkins is described as a black male standing about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing about 175 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.
