Well-known criminal defense attorney accused of DUI, endangering the welfare of children

BETHEL PARK, Pa. — A well-known criminal defense attorney in Pittsburgh was charged with DUI and endangering the welfare of children last week outside his Bethel Park home.

Police said Jimmy Sheets was arrested outside his Appel Road home Sept. 18 after he got into an argument with his ex-girlfriend, who is the mother of his 1-year-old daughter, and was then pulled over on suspicion of drunken driving with the child in the car.

Sheets told Channel 11’s Jodine Costanzo that he won’t comment on the incident until his preliminary hearing next month.
