Police seek woman in Westmoreland County grocery store robbery

WESTMORELAND COUNTY, Pa. - Police in Westmoreland County are investigating a grocery store robbery over the weekend.

According to the store's manager, a young woman jumped over the counter at the Mekic Store in Youngstown Borough Sunday and used a pair of scissors to open the cash register.

Investigators said the woman pushed a clerk to the ground two times to get to the money in the register and took off.

Police said a warrant has been issued for Jillian Richter's arrest. Investigators said store surveillance video caught the robbery on tape.

No injuries were reported.
