Woman, 48, threatens victims with knife over cooking of fish

GREENVILLE, Pa. — A 48-year-old Mercer County woman was arrested Thursday after investigators said she threatened two people with a knife over the cooking of her food.

According to police, Lynn Irwin, of Greenville, got into a verbal argument with 21-year-olds Kristopher Irwin and Racheal Vanderslice over the cooking of Lynn Irwin’s fish.

Investigators said Lynn Irwin pointed a kitchen knife at Kristopher Irwin and threatened to stab him. Lynn Irwin is also accused of charging at Vanderslice with the knife and verbally threatening her, as well.

No injuries were reported, and the victims were eventually able to flee the residence.

Lynn Irwin was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, making terroristic threats, harassment and reckless endangerment.

She remains in the Mercer County Jail awaiting her preliminary arraignment.
