Woman crashes into polling place in Westmoreland Co.

WESTMORELAND COUNTY, Pa. — A woman crashed into a polling place Tuesday morning in Westmoreland County, but according to authorities she wasn’t injured.

Officials said the woman crashed into the entrance of the Harrison City Fire Department Social Hall about 11:30 a.m.

The woman was not injured and was able to drive away from the scene, police said. Witnesses said the building suffered a considerable amount of damage.

There is no word on what caused the accident.
