OAKLAND, Pa. -- A woman was rushed to the hospital early Saturday morning after falling from the roof of a four-story building in Oakland.
Officials said the accident happened at a house on Meyran Avenue around 1 a.m.
Witnesses told Channel 11 that the woman was put on a ventilator before she was taken to the hospital by medics.
“What we think happened was she was on the flat portion of the porch and passed out,” witness Stan Reft said. “So when she woke up she either stumbled off or was too close to the edge.”
The woman’s name and condition have not been released.
Police continue to investigate.
