PITTSBURGH - School district officials said they will repost crossing guards at bus stops for Woodland Hills Academy.
Eesha Sheard called Channel 11’s newsroom Wednesday and said she was upset because she didn’t see a crossing guard at her son’s bus stop at Washington Street and Monogahela Avenue.
WPXI reporter Julie Fine contacted the school district and it told her it was a misunderstanding because all of the schools except Woodland Hills Academy got out May 25.
School district officials said they contacted the borough office and told them they needed crossing guards for the school until June 5.
The guards will be posted at their usual bus stops for the morning and afternoon.
