Worker removing asbestos hurt after falling from ladder at U.S. Steel tower

PITTSBURGH — A worker was hurt early Thursday morning when he fell off a ladder at the U.S. Steel Tower, officials said.

Emergency officials said the worker was removing asbestos when fell eight feet off the ladder.

The worker was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for back pain.
