PITTSBURGH - According to Deadline.com Mad Men star Jon Hamm has signed on to star in an upcoming Disney movie called “Million Dollar Arm.”
The movie is based on a true story, and Hamm will be playing the part of J.B. Bernstein, a sports agent who discovers professional pitchers Rinku Singh and Dinesh Patel for the Pittsburgh Pirates, according to Deadline.
The burning question is: Will Hamm be filming in Pittsburgh?
IMDB.com has the project listed as “in development” with few details released at this time.
Deadline reports “Mayhem Pictures’ Mark Ciardi and Gordon Gray are producing with Joe Roth and Palak Patel of Roth Films. Thomas McCarthy wrote the script and the plan is to shoot in the fall.”
