Man, 19, stabbed during argument in Aliquippa home

ALIQUIPPA, Pa. — A 19-year-old man is recovering after being stabbed at a home in Aliquippa Sunday.

Police said the incident happened around 7 p.m. inside of a home on Sheffield Avenue.

Officers told Channel 11’s Amy Marcinkiewicz that the victim, 19-year-old Bernard Jackson, and the homeowner were arguing on the front porch. Police said the homeowner went inside and the victim followed.

Police said the argument escalted and Jackson was stabbed several times in the neck and ribs. Investigators said he dove out of a window to escape.

The homeowner told police he stabbed Jackson in self-defense.

So far, police have not filed any charges.

Jackson is listed in critical condition.
