Man accused of molesting girl, 3, had just finished probation for similar case

ARMSTRONG COUNTY, Pa. — An Armstrong County man was behind bars Wednesday, accused of sexually assaulting a 3-year-old girl.

Police said the girl told a relative about the abuse during a doctor’s appointment.

Robert Walker, 40, of Kiski Township, is facing charges including child rape and corruption of a minor.

Police said Walker allegedly molested the girl, who is not related to him, while he was visiting someone.

Channel 11's news exchange partners at TribLIVE reported that In 2006, Walker faced charges of indecent assault and corruption of a minor. The assault charges were dismissed when he pleaded guilty to corruption of minors.

Walker was ordered to undergo counseling and was placed on probation for two years. The probation was extended twice for him to complete counseling and pay fines.

He had completed the probation in September.
