CRANBERRY, Pa. — A man has been arrested on suspicion he attempted to complete a drug deal in a Butler County park and ride.
According to a criminal complaint, Warren Smith Jr. came from Pittsburgh to Evan City Park and Ride to sell pure fentanyl in a busy commuter lot on Interstate 79.

Smith didn't know when he parked way back in the lot, the attorney general agents along with Cranberry police were waiting for him.
Authorities found 23 bags of a white powder substance, which they believe was straight fentanyl, and cocaine inside Smith’s car, according to the criminal complaint.
They believe Smith had 400 stamp bags of pure fentanyl.
According to police paperwork, he was attempting to trade his drugs for marijuana.
The drugs were confiscated and attorney general agents took him into custody.
