O'HARA TOWNSHIP — A man who went missing Friday after walking away from Family Services in RIDC Park has been found in downtown Pittsburgh, Channel 11 News has learned.
Richard Kircher has intellectual disabilities. According to police, he had last been seen about 11 a.m. on Beta Drive in O’Hara Township.
Police initially said they believed he may have gotten onto a bus. Officials searched the river and railroad tracks near RIDC Park, as well as downtown Pittsburgh.
“Our local fire department did a foot search of neighboring property and building(s) in the area. We have done a search on Freeport Road, Route 28,” O’Hara Township Police Superintendent James Farringer said.
Further information about Kircher’s disappearance and where he was found was not made available.
