MONESSEN, Pa. - Police said a man confessed in the deadly shooting of a Monessen man late Wednesday night.
According to police, 40-year-old Chris Allhouse admitted to shooting and killing 54-year-old James Ritter.
Investigators said Ritter was Allhouse’s mother’s caregiver. The details leading up to the shooting are still unclear, though police said the pair may have been arguing about sending Allhouse to a rehabilitation facility.
Ritter, police said, was shot three times.
Allhouse is expected to be arraigned sometime Thursday morning.
