Meadows Casino announces winners of $250,000 slot tournament

WASHINGTON, Pa. — Meadows Casino announced the winners of its $250,000 slot tournament.

Final Round prizes included:

1st Place -- $100,000 – Jean Sacco – Oakdale, PA

2nd Place --  $20,000 – Donald Smith – Canonsburg, PA

3rd Place -- $12,500 – Barbara Kuzma – Pittsburgh, PA

4th Place -- $7,500 – Edward Dalton – Washington, PA

5th Place -- $5,000 – Susan Hirschl – Pittsburgh, PA

Slot tournaments are open to the public and consist of three satellite tournaments with a maximum of 1,008 players for each event, all playing 24 designated machines within the casino.

The top 200 players from each satellite tournament advance to the main event.  The top 21 players in the opening round, along with the three satellite winners play in the grand prize round.
