BOCA RATON, Fla. - A Florida mother said she is disgusted by a Facebook group that apparently is designated to bashing photos of other people’s children.
According to that mother, she discovered the private group initially designed to sell and trade toddlers’ clothing.
According to reports, the group turned vicious when the mothers began posting photos of other people’s children.
One mom wrote about a toddler's picture, "Before I address this...It...I want to point out that it makes my heart happy that you have a Mean Girls tab in your computer. Good stuff. Now, # 1 is this a he or a she...You absolutely can not fix ugly. This is a God given example of such."
Another mother chimed in, "An ugly baby thread. I have died and gone to heaven...why can't you guys live near me so we can do this over cocktails?"
According to NBC News, some of the postings go as far as making fun of disabled and premature babies.
“The things that these mothers said were the most horrific things that I have ever seen, being a mom and knowing that they are moms,” Melissa Antenucci said.
Antenucci said she has since confronted most of the moms in the group and has made it her mission to expose the postings and the people behind them.
"We have zero tolerance. You are bullying babies," she said. "You're not even bullying your peers. You're bullying babies. No."
Antenucci said she has also reported the incident to Facebook. She said the mothers she confronted have mostly all deactivated their accounts.
NBC News and NBC Affiliate WPBF contributed to this report.
