Minor flooding affects Pittsburgh, surrounding area roadways

ALLEGHENY COUNTY, Pa. — Minor flooding caused problems for drivers and emergency crews after debris washed up onto some area roadways.

Heavy rains caused debris from a newly completed construction site to make its way onto roadways in West Mifflin.

Cars navigated around streets with minor flooding in Baldwin, where water pooled around edges and corners of streets.

Numerous small trees and branches washed up on Forest Avenue in west Homestead. Emergency crews worked to move the debris from the roadways.

All Flash Flood Warnings and Advisories have been canceled.
