Kyree, who was celebrating her 9th birthday weekend, received a liver, pancreas, and small and large intestines in November.
On Friday, the following Facebook message delivered the good news that there is no rejection from Kyree’s transplant:
“Let the birthday weekend begin! NO REJECTION. She's getting a 2 hr IV infusion and then we are heading home for a weekend of celebrating. And she's going to see her Sam Hunt in concert tomorrow. Very happy girl.
“Without her angel, Arianna, this birthday wouldn't have been a reality. I will never take one day for granted. #donatelife. #angelarianna”
