An overturned automobile on McKnight Road caused many to wake up without power.
According to Duquesne Light spokesman Brian Knavish, the accident resulted in approximately 2,800 customers losing power.
As of 10:30 a.m., nearly 900 were still without power, yet service is expected to be fully restored sometime after 4 p.m. Sunday.
The accident has also resulted in traffic delays as crews repair damage.
No one was reported to be seriously injured from the crash.
