Newlywed husband goes on honeymoon alone after bride loses passport

INDIA — An Indian photographer is enjoying a fabulous Italian honeymoon.

But you might notice that in his photo, there's something missing -- his bride!

Faizan Patel and his new wife Sana got married back in December and Sana had planned a two-week trip to Italy and Greece.

Just two days before they were supposed to leave, she experienced a moment that could make any world traveler panic -- she realized she'd lost her passport.  Since they were unable to get refund for their trip, Sana convinced her new hubby Faizan to go on the trip anyway.

On Monday, he tweeted a photo of himself with a picture of Sana over an empty seat -- and for awhile they thought that Tweet had saved the day.

India's Minister of External Affairs saw it, and took steps to get a duplicate passport to Sana.  She also needs a travel visa, which the couple hope to have in time for her to catch up to him in Florence-- before the honeymoon is over.
