1 Killed In Lawrence County Crash Along Route 65

 

WAYNE TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

Police said speed played a role in a fatal Wayne Township, Lawrence County, crash early Thursday morning.

The 33-year-old driver, whose name hasn’t been released, was killed in the crash along Route 65.

Police said the man's car was going around a bend when it went off the road, sheared a utility pole in half and landed in a field.

The victim was thrown from the car.

The cause of the crash is being investigated.
