PITTSBURGH —

Two people were arrested following an armed robbery Wednesday night at a Larimer gas station.

Pittsburgh police said the Exxon on Frankstown Avenue was robbed about 7:30 p.m.

Minutes later, Zone 5 officers spotted two males, one adult and one juvenile, on Shetland Street who matched the robbers' descriptions.

One person was captured on Ladson Street and the other on Renfrew Street.

Police said they recovered cash from the robbery, but not the weapon.

The suspects' names have not been released.
