2 Injured In South Connellsville Crash

Two people were flown to a Pittsburgh hospital after being cut from their car after a crash in Fayette County.

The crash happened shortly before 1 a.m. Tuesday on South Pittsburgh Street in South Connellsville.

The roof and dashboard of the car had to be cut off by emergency officials to free the two victims, whose names and conditions have not been released.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
