Police said responding officers found Christopher Brooks, 27, and Dwayne Jones, 19, lying on the kitchen floor in a pool of blood.

Investigators determined that the victims, both from Homewood, were standing on the front porch of a home when multiple shots were fired at them from an unknown direction.

Brooks was shot in the neck and was listed in serious condition at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

Jones suffered gunshot wounds to his head and left leg.

He was listed in stable condition.

One witness at the scene was overheard saying, "Pow, pow, pow I hit the floor, bam and they just busted through the door."
