2 Teen Girls To Face Charges In Grove City Hit List

GROVE CITY, Pa. —

A hit list found at Grove City Area high school put students and teachers on edge this week.

Tuesday, police announced that two girls, ages 15 and 17, will be charged as juveniles in connection with the incident.

Police said the two female students included 48 names, both teachers and students, on the so called "Murder List."

Channel 11's Amy Marcinkiewicz reported that a fellow student alerted the principal after she saw her name on the list. Officials then questioned the 15- and 17-year-old girls and notified everyone on the list.

Officials said it’s not known why the girls allegedly made the list, but said they've determined the students were never going to actually act it out.

In addition to charges of terroristic threats, the girls could also be expelled from school.
