57-Year-Old Chemistry Teacher Charged In Internet Sex Sting

An Ohio chemistry teacher charged in an Internet sex sting appeared in a Pennsylvania court Monday morning.

Investigators said 57-year-old Mark Fickenscher is accused of attempting to proposition a 13-year-old girl over the Internet.

The girl turned out to be a detective with the Pennsylvania Child Predator Unit.

Investigators said Fickenscher sent the girl sexually explicit videos of himself including nude and semi-nude, wearing women's underwear and performing a strip tease.

They said he repeatedly asked the girl to meet him in a hotel near her home.

In court Monday, the judge lowered Fickenscher's bond from $150,000 to $25,000. He noted this would be Fickenscher's first offense. He has no criminal history.
