6 People Hurt In North Fayette Crash

 

NORTH FAYETTE TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

Six people were hurt in a crash in North Fayette Friday afternoon, emergency officials told Channel 11.

Two of the victims were trapped in the vehicle and another was ejected, officials said.

The accident happened at around 4:30 p.m. along Kelso Road.

Police in North Fayette said officers think the driver of a Jeep may have been speeding when it hit another car.

Inside the Jeep were a West Allegheny Student and two former West Allegheny students, according to emergency responders.

Police said a couple and their daughter were inside the other car.

There is no word on the extent of their injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

The victims' names have not yet been released.
