WASHINGTON, Pa. —
8 AM UPDATE: A 911 outage continues in several local communities Tuesday morning.
Residents in the boroughs of Bentleyville and Ellsworth and portions of Somerset and Fallowfield townships do not have access to 911 Monday.
Any resident from this area with an emergency should either use a cellular phone to call 911 or call 724-229-4600 from their home telephone.
There is a problem in the Verizon system that gives any 911 call originating from the 724-239 exchange the following delayed message, "All circuits are busy."
At this time, there is not an estimated restoration time.
Watch Channel 11 News for updates on when service will be restored.
