Allegheny Co. Most-Wanted Fugitive Turns Self In

Friend Sees William Alexander Stroud On On-Demand

PITTSBURGH —

One of Allegheny County's most wanted is in police custody Tuesday thanks to Comcast On-Demand.

Allegheny County Sheriff William Mullen is having a lot of success with his 20 Most Wanted list on his Comcast site.

Overnight, William Alexander Stroud surrendered to sheriff's deputies after a friend told him he was featured on the most wanted list.

Stroud was being sought for stalking, simple assault and possession of a stun gun. The incident took place in the Hill District in August 2007.

After surrendering in downtown Pittsburgh, Stroud was taken to the Allegheny County Jail. He will be held until he faces a bond hearing.
