Allegheny County Most Wanted Fugitive Arrested Overnight

Suspect Featured On Comcast On Demand

PITTSBURGH —

A 33-year-old Carrick man charged with assaulting a 5-year-year old on a school bus has been arrested.

Police said Thomas Demarko turned himself in to authorities early Tuesday morning after being featured on the Allegheny County Sheriff’s 20 Most Wanted list on Comcast.

The charges against Demarko stem from an incident that happened on Oct. 23. Police said Damarko entered a school bus at the intersection of Brownsville Road and McKinley Street and allegedly punched a child three to four times in the chest with a closed fist. The victim had reportedly teased Damarko's child and made her cry, police said.

Damarko told police his friend told him his picture was being featured on Comcast on Demand. He is currently being held in the Allegheny County Jail.
