Amish Girl, 6, Struck By Car In Indiana County Dies

BANKS TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

A 6-year-old Amish girl was struck and killed by a car near Banks Township in Indiana County early Monday evening.

Authorities said Emma Byler was struck along Johnsonburg Road shortly before 4 p.m.

Authorities said a minivan driving along the winding road struck Byler. The road was shut down for a short period of time while crews investigated.

So far, no charges have been filed.
